Overview
The focus of this session will be the celebration of new life in nature by developing simple rag macramé skills to apply to the home.
Textiles
All rag is waste material from tee- shirts and will vary in quality. Clean, cut and prepared into strips in advance.
Participants will:
- Gain insight into sustainable creativity
- Build self-confidence through artistic expression
- Meet new people
- Practical workshop for anyone seeking a chance to explore a new medium.
Other information:
- Feel free to bring snacks
- Arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before the creating begins
- All materials are provided
- Background classical music is played to help creativity
- Cake and hot drink will be served
- Children will gain a certificate and take home resource material.
