GetDigitl ~ Hackathon
We're hosting a hackathon, a gathering of Makers, Hackers, Coders and Enthusiasts to compete in a software-based competition to develop the best project. GetDigitl Hackathon is on the 20th & 21st August 9am - 4pm. Hosted at Google Campus London. Anyone can join in if you're over the age of 10! However under 14s require a parent present. We won't charge a penny, however, any donations are accepted.
You can come even if you've never coded before! Our competition is aimed at more competent coders, but feel free to come along, learn, join in and meet new people! Lunch will be provided both days and breakfast on the second day, and we will cater to any dietary requirements if you let us know beforehand. Everyone will be put in teams on the day but unfortunately, we can't give you all free computers :( But you can compete with something as small as a Raspberry Pi!! Of course, we'll be giving out lots of exciting prizes.
This year we are proud to announce we are sponsored by Intel's Code for Good, and there will be a separate category the Code for Good award! Meaning, even more prize opportunities :)
