Are you looking to set up an Instagram account to show off your artist practice or creative business? Have you tried Instagram out, but you’re not too sure how to use some of it’s functions? This session will cover all the basics to get you set up on Instagram.The session will cover:<ul><li>Getting set up on Instagram</li><li>Content creation</li><li>Posts v’s stories v’s reels</li><li>Building your audience (understanding hashtags and targeting)</li><li>Linking your website and other social media</li><li>Scheduling posts</li></ul>Following this session, you will be able to get your creative business Instagram up and running and understand the fundamental of how to run a brilliant Instagram account. ---About the Practitioner: Jo Austin Greer at <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/marketing-with-jo/?trk=similar-pages" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marketing with Jo</a> has been working in enterprise support (particularly focussing on creative industries and female entrepreneurs) since 2006. Jo recently completed a 13 year stint as Head of Marketing and Engagement with a charitable and commercial organisation and has supported SME’s, large corporates, government officials and third sector organisations to improve their marketing strategy.

About the programme:This session is part of a programme of workshops designed to provide tailored support to artists, makers and creatives living in the Liverpool City Region. Devised by <a href="https://makecic.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make CIC </a>and in partnership with <a href="https://www.baltic-creative.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Baltic Creative CIC</a>, each workshop is delivered in person by local expert practitioners who are able to share knowledge and valuable insight on each chosen topic.About Eligibility:This session is open to individuals living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, or Halton) only.This session is part of a wider project called <a href="https://makecic.org/enterprise-hub/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Enterprise Hub Skills </a>which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). In order to access this support for free, all attendees are required to prove their eligibility in line with ESF's funding requirements. FAQsWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?By Car: There is free, 2 hour, on street parking outside 49 Jamaica Street and in the surrounding area. By Train: The nearest Train Station to the venue is Liverpool Central Station and it's a 15 minute walk away or you can pick up the 82 which drops you near the venue. By Bus: The venue is situated in the Baltic Triangle. All Bus routes can be found <a href="https://moovitapp.com/index/en-gb/public_transportation-Baltic_Triangle-North_West-site_22891003-2105" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. By Bike or E-shooter: <a href="https://liverpool.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/getting-around-liverpool/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">VOI Scooters </a>are regularly available at this venue and cycle lock stands are situated outside the venue. on Jamaica Street.Will refreshments be available?The venue (The Shed meeting space) is situated at 49 Jamaica Street, AKA 92 Degrees Coffee Shop. They have a variety of food and drink available. Water will be provided at this session. How accessible is the venue?The venue is fully accessible and is situated on the ground floor at 49 Jamaica Street. RegistrationAttendees will need to complete additional registration requirements for this session no later that 1 week before the event takes place.
