Getting Started with Evaluation
This a beginners guide to impact evaluation. Helping groups to start assessing what impact they have on their participants.
Funding bids often require information about the impact of your group on its participants. This workshop will introduce getting started in evaluating your impact, which will help you evidence what you do to others and use your data to drive your group forward.
It will focus on the following:
- The difference between monitoring, evaluation & consultation
- How to start planning your evaluation – a brief overview of a logic model & evaluation plan
- Evaluation methods
- Creating a simple evaluation form
- Looking at using validated measures to measure impact
- Getting a representative sample group to demonstrate impact
- Using your data to learn and demonstrate impact
- What to do with your data
