Airlines have a significant challenge in lowering their emissions. International Airlines Group (IAG) – the owner of British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus and LEVEL – was the first airline group in the world to target net zero emissions by 2050, supported the first airline alliance in the world to set a net zero emissions target (Oneworld), and won a 2020 award from IEMA for our leadership on a strategy to get to net zero. Samuel Gordon (Trinity College, '08) works in the IAG Group Sustainability team producing the analysis underpinning IAG's climate strategy.

This event is a chance for you to engage with what the aviation sector is doing, by understanding IAG’s plan and diving into solutions airlines are adopting and the challenges they face. As well as where you can find out more information.
