Event description

Description

Two of the UK’s leading skin influencers and health campaigners, Holly Dillon from #GetYourSkinOut and Lianne Hunter from FixMyPsoriasis, have come together to launch ‘#GetYourSkinOut events’ – a series of free to attend community events for people with, and wanting to know more about living with the skin condition, psoriasis.

Aimed at bringing the psoriasis community together, the first in a series of nationwide events will take place on February 4th 2017 in central London - location TBC. Here, Holly and Lianne, will host a series of discussions and conversations with attendees, providing information, advice and a sounding board for those wanting to know more about the impacts of living with psoriasis.

We plan to use our contacts to bring the community access to leading dermatologist, nutritional therapists, sex experts and skin care and pharmaceutical brands to give our community the information they want and need.

Lisa Bickerstaffe from the British Skin Foundation says: 'The #GetYourSkinOut campaign has already given confidence to thousands suffers thanks to Holly & Lianne. The British Skin Foundation are looking forward to supporting the upcoming events in 2017.'

Simon Oates from Mind & Skin Psychodermatology Charity says: 'Events like these are needed to bring the community together. Starting a conversation around the wider effects of psoriasis like mental health is so important not only for those living with the condition but also for the society. These events will help change the health agenda for the better. I’m excited to collaborate.'

So what are you waiting for? Reserve your space, bring your psoriais spots, invite your family, friends and colleagues, and of course #GetYourSkinOut !
