If you are a Forest School practitioner working in the Gatwick Greenspace Partnership project area, why not join us in August for an opportunity to explore Tilgate Park. If weather allows, we will embark on some citizen science with The Big Butterfly Count and plan to cook up a campfire crumble. This day will include opportunities to revisit skills, connect with wildlife, share experiences and support each other.
Location: Tilgate Park, Crawley, in the woods near the black recreation huts
Directions: Use the Tilgate Drive entrance next to the K2 Leisure Centre off the A23.

What you need to bring
Please check the weather forecast and remember to bring the following:
- A mug, tea bags/coffee/hot-chocolate/milk/sugar lunch and snacks for your own use
(hot water will be provided)
- Work Gloves if you have them.
- There will be logs but bring a camp chair if you prefer.
Severe Weather
We aim to go ahead in most weather conditions, however activities will not go ahead in severe weather such as high winds, extreme cold and/or persistent heavy rain, and where indoor alternatives cannot be arranged. You will receive an email and/or a phone call the day before the event to be informed of cancellation. If you are not contacted, the event will be going ahead as planned.
