Ghost Stories with Doug

Join us for a evening of ghostly tales and history whilst sat in the ancient almost 1000yr old Church with Keeper Doug Chapman.

I’m a curious sort of person (in both senses of the word) & am lucky enough to have spent much of my working life in ancient buildings.

Buildings almost always outlive their occupiers, some by a very large margin, & as each generation passes they absorb their personalities, their spirits if you will.

Mostly benign, often welcoming and occasionally troubled, buildings store recollections & acquire ‘moods’ which in turn ‘reinfect’ those of us who live in or visit them.

This is the story of a number of places that I have known over the years including of course Dode.
