Ghosts

Richard Wiseman

1 Circus Ln

Welcome to our scary Halloween event, where artists have created works based on their ghostly experience. You will explore the semi-dark gallery space in torchlight and discover the artworks lurking within the shadows. The exhibition will put a tingle down your spine and take place in the atmospheric Undercroft at Edinburgh’s St Vincent’s Church (entrance on 1 Circus Lane). There will also be monks moving among you! PLEASE NOTE… Tickets: There are only a small number of tickets available for each time slot. Tickets are free but make sure that you can come before reserving a space. Timing: Please arrive at the start of your time slot as we cannot allow latecomers. You will have 20 mins to explore the artworks in near darkness but are then welcome to stay longer in our special activities area. Safety: You will be in semi-darkness for much of the event and some of the flooring is uneven so you will need to be careful as you move around. Also, some of the art deals with themes of death, ghosts, fear and grief. Please consider your comfort level with dark environments and these themes before booking. By attending, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks which cannot be entirely eliminated. Recordings: Images or video recordings of you may be captured, and these may be used for promotional or marketing purposes. Accessibility: Access to the building is down a 1 in 7 ramp. There are no toilets in the venue.
