Join us for a series of late-night events at God’s House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South’s best musicians.

Part of a series of late night events at God's House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South's best musicians.Join us for the first GHT Lates of 2024. We'll be jonied by some familiar GHT Lates favourites as well as some new acts for you to enjoy.GHT Lates features:The Real Raj: The RealRaj is a singer songwriter. Depending on when you catch him you will find him playing guitar, harmonica,tambourine, mandolin, kazoo, banjo, or ukulele - not necessarily in order or all at the same time but sometimes very close…On occasions, also joined by cello player, classical guitarist, or saxophonist.O C Thomas: O.C Thomas: Music Producer and Guitarist with extensive and varied experience in the creative industry. As a performer, he has worked with a number of bands and artists and was a founding member of critically acclaimed UK indie band, Switches. Touring Europe, Japan and the USA they performed at some of the worlds top venues and festivals, memorably Glastonbury's Other Stage, Fuji Rock and Lollapalooza. Signed to Atlantic records, he recorded the debut album Heart tuned to D.E.A.D at the world famous Sunset Sound Studios, LA.Frankie Knight: Hailing from the South Coast of the UK, Frankie Knight delves into a dreamworld of haunting melodies and waves of lush tones. Disjointed, hip hop infused beats allow her vocals to drift elegantly overhead as the she delivers her brand of beautifully crafted electronic pop.PLUS We'll be jonied by a GHT Lates first, Earth to Oven street food. You'll not want to miss their generously loaded flatbreads with fillings made from local, seasonal produce, all prepared in house. You can expect something for everyone; including meat, veggie and vegan options and plenty of sides to choose from.Don’t forget that when you’re not listening to the bands you have exclusive access to explore our newest exhibition at God’s House Tower after hours, plus you have access to the tower and the roof as well as a chance to hang out in our comfy cafe and courtyard.Tickets cost £7 in advance or £8.50 on the night!

What to expect on the nightThe doors to GHT will open at 6.50pm and the bar will be open for you to buy drinks and delicious street food from <a href="https://earthtooven.co.uk/" title="https://earthtooven.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Earth to Oven</a> - a GHT Lates first!Here is the running order for the event: 7pm - Event begins 7.30pm - The Real Raj 8.15pm - Break for you to explore the galleries and roof and get more food! 8.40pm - O C Thomas 9.15pm - Break - more exploring 9.30pm - Frankie Knight 10.10pm - Performances end but the bar is still open 11pm - Venue Closes Access and Quiet Spaces The ground floor bar and cafe to GHT have step free access from Town Quay Road. The artwork for this exhibition can be found in the Crawford Room, Main Gallery and Project Space. The Main Gallery and Project Space are served by the lift and will be open all evening. Please note that some of the exhibits have artworks which contain sexually explicit imagery. These areas are clearly labelled. The performances will be in the cafe area. There will be chairs set out in the cafe for the performances as well as spares around the building. These events tend to be quite busy with a mix of standing and sitting in the performance area, so if you need any assistance finding a seat please ask a member of the GHT team who will be happy to help. Throughout the event the Cafe Extension will be used as a quiet space with dimmed lighting, seating, quiet music and water available. Please use this space if you need to for any reason to take a break. If you’d like to familiarise yourself before your visit you can take a virtual tour of the spaces on our website. All of the ticket sales for these events go to the acts performing so we’ll also be operating a ‘pay what you feel’ system at the end of the night. If you have a good night and can spare a few pounds for GHT we’d really appreciate it. All donations are welcome. You can also support by buying drinks at the bar! All funds raised will help us to keep supporting local artists and performers and will help to build a creative community around GHT.
