Join us for a series of late-night events at God’s House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South’s best musicians.

Part of a series of late night events at God's House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South's best musicians.This month we're joined by March, Nick Hilder and Winterfalle as part of their Spring Tide Mini Tour featuring a new wave of breaking alt-folk artists from the South West and Channel Islands and live drawing by Chris Riddell.GHT Lates features:March is the project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kitty O'Neal. Over the years her story-telling has evolved into a unique pool of sound, transcending the borders between contemporary folk, alt and indie music. march cut her teeth as a solo artist on the Southampton/south UK coast music scene before relocating to London, and has toured around the UK, including multiple slots at Glastonbury and Sofar Sounds. As heard on BBC Radio 6, Folk Radio UK and Amazing Radio USA.Nick Hilder "Stripped-back, raw, honest lyrics." | BBC Introducing Channel IslandsA nylon-string newcomer with a strong command of melody, Nick just released his debut record ‘How to Write Love Letters’ to a sold-out London crowd and support from BBC.Winterfalle is the alt-folk brainchild of London-based songwriter Sam Falle. Founded in Jersey, Sam’s songs are modern folk tales about island life, history, and culture performed as life-affirming singalongs. Debut singles 'I Know' and 'Deadbeat' caught the attention of Tom Robinson at BBC Radio 6 Music and Huw Stephens on Radio 1. In April 2023, Winterfalle and former Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell collaborated on the song 'Snowdrops' about the devastating impact of the Ukraine War. In November 2023, Winterfalle released new album 'Out of the Sea', with 'Miles Off Course’ landing Record of the Week on BBC Introducing Channel Islands. PLUS We'll be joined by a GHT Lates first, The South Coast Bagel Co!Don’t forget that when you’re not listening to the bands you have exclusive access to explore our newest exhibition at God’s House Tower after hours, plus you have access to the tower and the roof as well as a chance to hang out in our comfy cafe and courtyard.Tickets cost £7 in advance or £8.50 on the night!

What to expect on the night The doors to GHT will open at 6.50pm and the bar will be open for you to buy drinks and delicious street food from The South Coast Bagel Co! Here is the running order for the event: 7pm		Event begins 7.30pm	Winterfalle 8pm		Break for you to explore the galleries and roof and get more food! 8.15pm	Nick Hilder 8.45pm	Break - more exploring 9pm		March 9.45pm	Performances end but the bar is still open 11pm	 Venue Closes Access and Quiet Spaces The ground floor bar and cafe to GHT have step free access from Town Quay Road. The artwork for this exhibition can be found around the building, in the project space, Crawford Room and mezzanines. The performances will be in Main Gallery. There will be chairs set out for the performances as well as spares around the building. If you need any assistance finding a seat please ask a member of the GHT team who will be happy to help.Throughout the event the Cafe Extension will be used as a quiet space with dimmed lighting, seating, quiet music and water available. Please use this space if you need to for any reason to take a break.If you’d like to familiarise yourself before your visit you can take a virtual tour of the spaces on our website. All of the ticket sales for these events go to the acts performing so we’ll also be operating a ‘pay what you feel’ system at the end of the night. If you have a good night and can spare a few pounds for GHT we’d really appreciate it. All donations are welcome. You can also support by buying drinks at the bar! All funds raised will help us to keep supporting local artists and performers and will help to build a creative community around GHT.
