Find out about the wealth of research taking place across the University’s Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) and the exciting opportunities for public engagement with research at the GLAM Engaged Research Showcase.

Members of the University are invited to join colleagues from across GLAM to:

  • Learn about the origins of animals, bizarre carnivorous plants and 3D-printed historic musical instruments in our lightning talks
  • Explore cellular mechanics and biomedical engineering with bubbles in our interactive demonstrations
  • Play Medieval Islamic medicine board games and discover how augmented reality can help us see museum specimens differently at a range of information stands
  • Take a guided tour of the Talking Maps exhibition
  • Spark new ideas with researchers and public engagement experts over refreshments
