Overview

A regular drawing group. Specialising in creating your own comics, zines and illustrations!

Welcome to the **Glasgow Comic/ Drawing Club**!

This is a drawing group that focuses in on visual storytelling telling! yay!

This was originally a comic making club but I decided that was too specific! But I do love comics so expect a bit of comic chat!
If you don't like comics then that's NOT a problem.

You can tell a story visually however you like. I tend to use comic story telling, but it can be done however you like. Even just a doodle!
I find drawing a brilliant way to cement a thought, memory or just an ordinary thing you noticed in a day. With this group I hope to sit around drawing, getting to know people and maybe eventually a little community could hatch out of it!

In the past people have bought along uni projects or just drawing work they were doing at home too. Not everyone likes to start something from scratch! And that's fine too.

I'm hoping it will just be a chilled out environment for people to relax while also making something in the process. Or maybe you'll just sit and take ideas from what others are doing and give it a go the following week! Who knows.

People have said they find the group useful as a place that encourages them to draw, when they otherwise don't have the time or drive. So whether you are beginner, or a regular drawer OR you used to draw but haven't for years and want to get back into it, this group environment should be appropriate for you :)

BRING YOU OWN SKETCHBOOK AND DRAWING EQUIPMENT! (im not shouting, just making sure you notice!) ;D
