Global Academy Open Event

The Global Academy is a unique school for 14-19 year olds specialising in the fast paced and exciting broadcast and digital media industry.Students experience everything they need to kick start their media careers, from classroom and studio training to exposure with industry professionals via guest speakers, 1-2-1 mentoring and work experience. Our sixth form students leave the Academy with both a network of contacts and a personal portfolio of media projects.Global, the media & entertainment company behind some of the UK’s best-loved radio brands, are the driving force behind the Global Academy. They believe it’s crucial to arm students with the proper technical, business and creative skills they need to work in the broadcast and digital media industry, and to help them connect their core studies with vocational skills in a truly practical and entrepreneurial way in an inspirational environment. Global are determined to help young people fulfil their potential and want to extend this opportunity to students from all backgrounds.Our partnership with theUniversity of the Arts, London(UAL) enables us to offer a rigorous and challenging curriculum. The Global Academy

Come and learn more about the Global Academy, a new state school for 14 - 19 year olds, in the heart of Hayes specialising in Broadcast & Digital media. 
You'll have a chance to look around the school, meet some of the current students and teachers and hear from the Principal. Please ensure that you arrive by 5pm at the latest as we have a schedule of events kicking off from 5pm:
·         17.15 – 17.45: Principal Presentation in Auditorium ·         17.45 – 18.30: Academy Tours & Questions ·         18.30 – 19.00: Presentations from Global staff and Global Academy students ·         19.00: Session End
