Global Game Jam - Southampton Game Jam 2026
Make a game, in 48 hours at the University of Southampton!
The Southampton Game Jam has run every year since 2015 and is a great opportunity to flex -or develop - your creative skills. Whether you're a designer, programmer, writer, artist, musician, or just want to dabble, we welcome all disciplines and all skill-levels.
You can make any type of game you like - a digital game, card game, or board game - and work on your own or in a team.
Registration will open from 4pm in Building 100 on Friday 30th January, with the Opening Talks starting at 5pm.

How to get here
The Southampton Game Jam is based in Buildings 100 and 60 at the University of Southampton Highfield Campus. Registration and the keynote talks will take place in B100, before we move over to B60 for the remainder of the Jam.
If you’re coming from further afield, the University is easily accessible by bus from throughout Southampton. If you’ve arrived on a train from Southampton Airport Parkway, you’ll need to catch a U1C. If you’ve arrived at Southampton Central, a U1A or U1E will do the job!
If you’re driving, there is permit-free parking on campus, available after 17:00 on Friday; if you’re arriving before then, there is on-street parking close by.
