<H2>Building Teams Extensions with the SharePoint Framework</H2>
We are excited to kick off the developer boot-camp series in the UK with an event in London which will focus on building Teams extensions with the SharePoint Framework. SPFx has become the developer technology of choice for building SharePoint extensions, and now we are able to re-use that technology to build extensions for the wildly successful Microsoft Teams platform to make it even more useful as another canvas to surface line-of-business applications.
We'll start with an overview of Microsoft Teams extensions, followed by a deep dive into the SharePoint Framework and how to use it to develop for Teams. We'll also look at some of the development tooling and how you can get set up for Teams SPFx development (don't worry, it doesn't take long). After covering the theory and tool set-up, in the afternoon we’ll get down to the practicalities and go into hands-on mode (so bring your laptop!). You can work on your own solutions or use one of our project suggestions, individually or in teams, and experts and MVPs including Wes Hackett, Vardhaman Deshpande and Gosia Borzecka will be there to help you through the process of getting everything working.
Don't worry if you don't yet have an Office 365 developer tenant - we can help you with that, and we’ll have some swag to give away at the event. You’ll also have a chance to make a presentation on what you or your team have been working on, with some great prizes for the best ideas.
Now in its third year, the Global Microsoft 365 Developer Bootcamp incorporates even more technologies and products that are now included in the Microsoft 365 platform. Bootcamps are a free, one-day, hands-on training event led by Microsoft MVPs and community leaders with support from Microsoft. Developers worldwide are invited to come and learn about the latest developer technologies on the Microsoft 365 platform.
