For the last year, it has been a foregone conclusion that someone will be the hero we need and run a full militia and solar auxilia only event.
Join Cerri and Danger Close as we celebrate the most useless of the Emperors (or Warmasters) servants as they ineffectively fire guns at each other.
Missions
Custom missions will be handed out on the day and vary depending on game results. Missions will feature cumulative scoring or final turn scoring (but there will be one of each). There will not be a Kill point mission so bring as many squads of 2 point mooks as you want!
Army Composition
- First and foremost, this is a narrative event and lists should be suitably levelled for this. I’m not sure if it is possible to be OP with Solar or Militia, but now is not the time to try.
- Armies must be fully painted. I appreciate armies of mortals can be a lot of models, they don’t need to be Golden Deamon level, but must be at least 3 colours
- 2,250 army point list drawn from either the Solar Auxilia list within Liber Imperium or the Imperialis Militia PDF
- You may ally a Solar force to a Militia army and vice versa, however allied detachments or Lord of War selections from Adeptus Astartes, Custodes or bound Deamons are not permitted. Assassins of any kind are also not permitted.
- Allied detachments of Sisters of Silence and Mechanicum are permitted but must total less than 750 points. If taking Mechanicum allies, Thanatars are not permitted and Myrmidons are a 0-1 option.
- Any units from the Solar Auxilia Legacy document may be used as appropriate as well as any appropriate Exemplary Battles. The Legion Marauder Bomber and Legion Marauder Destroyer from the Legions Legacy list may be selected as Lord of War (as the only exception to the no Marine units) but will be BS3.
- A single Knight may be taken in a list in the Lord of War slot as per the usual rules. An ‘allied’ detachment of Questoris Knights may not be taken.
- Summoned Deamon units (via a Militia Rogue Psyker) are a 0-1 option (e.g. you are allowed 1 unit of Brutes or 1 unit of Lesser Deamons etc)
- Latest FAQ will be in use.
What to Bring?
- Models (usually helps)
- Dice, rulebooks, templates etc.
- Movement trays are optional but recommended – if you have them, they speed up moving that many infantry models around
- Optional but encouraged - A section of narrative supporting your force. This could be history or origins or notable battles etc. Just something to characterise your men and women.

- Best Painted – Best painted force (Player Voted).
- Most Thematic – Favourite themed force (Player Voted)
- Remembrancer – Player who creates the best narrative for their force (TO Decision)
