Going Digital - Interactive Live Web Event
Going Digital: exploring electronic communication between doctors and nurses and young adults with long-term conditions through an interactive forum theatre production
Would you like to take part in an exciting, interactive LIVE theatrical production and at the same time contribute to innovative research with young people with long-term health conditions that is looking at whether digital communication can improve their access to healthcare?
The LYNC study in collaboration with Face Front Inclusive Theatre will be hosting an online live streaming event where we will ask the audience of young people and clinicians to engage with each other and the actors on the stage to direct the scenarios being played out on the screen in front of them.
We are looking for interested and enthusiastic young people aged 16-24, older adults and healthcare professionals who are happy to share their ideas on the use of email and text within a hospital or community healthcare setting. Your contribution will be vital to the success of the performance. (BUT you can just sit and watch if you prefer!)
The proceedings will take place from the comfort of your own home where prior to the evening you will be asked to download some FREE software onto your computer or laptop to enable you to join the rest of the participants for an exciting, enjoyable and worthwhile drama-based experience.
Please register your interest here and we will be back in contact nearer the date with details of how to join us on the evening. Please note that the number of participants will be limited.
Further details are also available from Rebecca Rogers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
