Gosforth's Wild Web: Wildflower Wander
Join NHSN Senior Naturalist, James Common, for a stroll through Jesmond Dene in search of woodland wildflowers.
About this Event
Join NHSN Senior Naturalist, James Common, for a stroll through Armstrong Park and Jesmond Dene in search of woodland wildflowers.
Spring is a time when our woodlands quite literally burst into life, with a succession of blooms carpeting the forest floor. Early in the season, you may spot wood anemones, snowdrops, celandines and more.
On this informal and friendly walk, we’ll follow the Ouse Burn and record the species we encounter as part of Gosforth’s Wild Web.
Please bring sturdy footwear and waterproofs if needed.
