At Turner Contemporary, we believe in the power of art to transform people and places, doing things differently to achieve our vision, “Art made essential.” Since opening in 2011, Turner Contemporary has become one of the most successful galleries in the UK. We’ve achieved more than 3.6 million visits and the gallery has been a catalyst for the regeneration of Margate. Located in a building designed by David Chipperfield Architects, on a site overlooking the North Sea, our programme of world-class events, exhibitions of historical and contemporary art and our innovative learning programme have fast earned the gallery an international reputation.With free admission, great art is accessible for all.

Turner Contemporary

Celebrated photographer Grace Lau brings her Chinese Studio to Turner Contemporary.
You are invited to pose for a portrait alone or with family and friends, in a temporary photographic studio directed by Grace Lau. Choose your timeslot and please arrive 15 minutes before your allocated slot. 
All sitters will receive a digital version of their portrait following the session.
As the image suggests dogs are welcome! If you are bringing your dog/s, we do ask that you email info@turnercontemporary.org with your name and order reference number to let us know.
