Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you'll learn all the tips and tricks to become a Granny Square Master!

Welcome to the Granny Square Masterclass! Join us over 3 sessions on Thurs 24th April, 1st May &amp; 8th May at 18:30 at The Hub, The Glades, Bromley for a fun and creative evening of crochet.This event is perfect for anyone looking to improve their crochet skills. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process step by step, so you can create a project of your choosing.You will need to have basic crochet skills which means you need to know how to chain, double crochet and treble crochet before you can join this workshop.You will learn how to read a crochet pattern chart and a written pattern. You will get to make at least two different types of granny squares. You will choose which square you want to make your project from.Once you have learnt how to make your squares, you will need to make some at home between sessions so that you can learn the joining and finishing techniques in the final class.ProjectsHat - requires 6 floral granny squaresBag 1 - 3 Large granny squaresBag 2 - 13 floral granny squaresWe will provide information about how to line your bags with fabric if you would like to, but you will need to do that outside of the workshops.You will need to bring your own crochet hooks. Size 3.5mm, 4mm &amp; 4.5mm would be useful or those appropriate to the yarn that you intend to use.We do have a limited yarn collection that you could chose from but if you want specific colours, we would suggest that you could buy your own. If buying your own yarn please buy double knit yarn. Cotton is best for summer projects and bags as it is cool and doesn't stretch too much.
