The Instituto Cervantes is the official Spanish language and culture centre created by the Spanish government in 1991. The Instituto's mission is to spread the knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish universe by enabling people to engage with the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countriesworldwide. <p>Tras el lanzamiento de la segunda lista de Granta que celebra a los jóvenes novelistas en español, que muestra la próxima generación de talento literario, nos enorgullece presentar una velada para conocer a algunos de los autores del número especial "Lo mejor de los jóvenes novelistas en español 2". . El nuevo número de Granta contiene nuevos escritos de veinticinco de los escritores más emocionantes de treinta y cinco años o menos de todo el mundo de habla hispana. En esta ocasión, conversaremos con los escritores Cristina Morales (España), Carlos Fonseca (Costa Rica) y Mateo García Elizondo (México), en un evento organizado por Stephen Hart (UCL) y presentado por Valerie Miles (editora de Granta).
</p><p>Following the release of Granta’s second list celebrating young Spanish-language novelists, showcasing the next generation of literary talent, we are proud to present an evening to meet some of the authors of the special issue “The Best of Young Spanish-Language Novelists 2”. The new issue of Granta contains new writing from twenty-five of the most exciting writers aged thirty-five and under from across the Spanish-speaking world. On this occasion we will engage in conversation with writers Cristina Morales (Spain), Carlos Fonseca (Costa Rica) and Mateo García Elizondo (México), in an event hosted by Stephen Hart (UCL) and introduced by Valerie Miles (Granta editor).   </p>
