This workshop is for organisations who are seeking ways to develop a robust fundraising strategy that will provide them with improved financial sustainability whilst keeping their mission visible and at the forefront.

The session covers:

• Explaining why income diversification is important in the current funding climate

• Developing a realistic fundraising strategy suited to your organisations capacity and resources

• Where are you now?

• Establishing your financial position.

• Performing an income stream audit

• Employing Internal and external reviews to develop a Fundraising Strategy

• Where do you want to be?

• Identifying organisational capacity and resources

• Identifying Returns on Investment for different funding streams

• Establishing what types of fundraising will work well for your organisation.

• Setting SMART goals and objectives

• How do you get there?

• Establishing a timeline/s

• Identifying your audience/s

• Tailoring your messages

• Indicators of Success

• Tools and resources at your disposal

Participants will leave the session equipped with a toolkit that enables them to introduce short term fundraising strategy shifts in their organisation. The workshop will also provide them with an increased knowledge of the ways in which they can approach medium- and longer-term strategy shifts to improve organisational resilience.
