Duration: 3 WeeksDates: (Thursday’s) 12.05.22, 19.05.22, 26.05.22,Time: 10:30am - 12:30pmLocation: Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn, WA7 5LYCourse Overview This short course offers the opportunity for you to learn new skills, develop your creative and graphic design knowledge and socialise with like-minded people in a relaxed and supportive environment. Class sizes will be kept small (maximum 10 people) and delivered by two tutors with industry experience. Topics you’ll learn about:<ul><li>Fundamental graphic design processes</li><li>File formats and sizes</li><li>Different graphic design software that's available</li><li>Creating digital graphics such as Logos, Posters and Images for social media, with guidance from your tutors.</li></ul>Who is this course for (eligibility criteria)?To take part you:<ul><li>Must be Aged 18+</li><li>Must be a resident of Halton Borough</li></ul>What to expect from this course:Do you live in Halton and are interested in creative, graphic design but don’t know where to start? These sessions are perfect for anyone who has limited experience in graphic design but is keen to know more. If you want to get creative, try design and learn new skills in a supportive, social atmosphere then this is the course for you.What are the entry requirements?You will need a basic working knowledge of computers; for example can you download a file from the internet and rename it on your computer? Participants will (with guidance if needed) set up online accounts (e.g. Google, graphic design software accounts, Adobe). All technology and equipment will be provided for the sessions by our delivery partners Mako Create, so you just need to turn up. Please feel free to bring a pen and notepad with you to take notes.Are there any costs involved?Due to all the places being fully funded by Halton Foundation and Community Foundation For Merseyside this course is completely free of charge.How do I sign up?You can do it online here, or call us on 0151 345 1419 and we'll get you signed up
