Join us for the official launch of the Green Careers Project, bringing together employers, young people, and community partners to create inclusive pathways into the growing green sector.

🌱 About the Event

This launch marks the beginning of an exciting 5-year Green Careers Programme, funded by the Sustainable Steps Wales Fund and Dormant Assets. The programme supports young people aged 16–30 to develop skills, gain experience, and explore real career opportunities within the green economy.

The event is an opportunity to learn how we can work together to build a more sustainable future while creating meaningful employment and progression opportunities within our communities.

👥 Who Should Attend?

  • Employers – Discover how the programme supports inclusive recruitment, workforce development, and sustainable career pathways.
  • Young people (16–30) – Explore green career options, skills, training, and be inspired by what’s possible.
  • Organisations & partners – Learn how to connect with the programme, collaborate within the network, and strengthen opportunities for young people.

🌍 What You’ll Gain

  • Insight into the Green Careers Pathway, supporting young people aged 16–30, including those with disabilities, neurodiverse needs, and from BAME communities.
  • Learn about our commitment to equality and representation, with a goal of engaging 50% young women across the programme.
  • Explore a wide range of skills, training, and career opportunities across the green sector through shared knowledge and employer pledges.
  • Celebrate the launch of the Employer Training Offer — a free training package shaped by young people’s lived experiences to help employers create inclusive and supportive workplaces.
  • Connect with young people, employers, and partners to share ideas, build relationships, and collaborate.

Whether you’re an employer looking to nurture future talent, a young person ready to explore green careers, or a partner organisation keen to connect and collaborate, this event is your chance to be part of something impactful.

Together, we’re unlocking potential, building connections, and shaping a greener, fairer future.
