Harrow Conservation Forum is a Sub-Committee of the Harrow Heritage Trust (click here for the Trust's own website). The Forum is a group of volunteers who maintain the majority of the nature reserves and wild open spaces in the London Borough of Harrow.We organizeconservation action eventsin the various reserves as well asfun and educational events including guided walks: click on the relevant link for a current calendar.

Open Day at Newton Farm Ecology ParkTo celebrate Green Week, we invite you to join us at the Newton Farm Ecology Park Open Day. Funded by #Celebrate National Lottery 25#Enjoy our walks, talks, displays, children's activities and refreshments.This is a free event and you are welcome to join us at any point from 2:00 to 4:30.To avoid disappointment, please book your place on our walks and talks by clicking on 'register' and choose the one you want. Charnett is a Research Fellow at UCL Plastic Waste Innovation Hub. </li></ul><ul><li>Talk 3:15 Mother's CAN <a href="https://www.mothers-can.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a>We’re facing climate breakdown and it’s pretty terrifying. As mothers, we feel it not only for ourselves but for our children. Sometimes, even starting to think about what we’re up against can be overwhelming. But we know that mums are awesome, and if anyone is going to sort out the climate crisis, it’s us, together. So we're getting organised! <a href="https://www.mothers-can.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mothers CAN</a> (Mothers’ Climate Action Network) is a network of mums from all walks of life, from all over the country. We’re coming together in our communities to build power and change things for the better. Find out how you can be a part of it. What3Words location: ///train.spot.herbs Directions The park is to the left (when facing it) of the Tithe Farm Sports &amp; Social Club, 151 Rayners Ln, Harrow HA2 0XH. This is the best postcode to use. Do not use the Google maps postcode it will take you around the houses. There is another entrance off Alexandra Avenue. If you choose to come via this entrance, you will need to walk through to the opposite end of the park to find us. Parking: Parking can be difficult, the car park will not be available and there is high competition for street parking. We recommend that you walk or cycle. London Transport: <ul><li>The H12 bus runs along Rayner's Lane. The nearest bus stops are at Coles Crescent, stops K and H. it is a short walk westwards to the entrance.</li><li>The 398 runs along Alexandra Avenue; stop V or Y, outside the Alexandra Medical Centre, are the closest.</li><li>The nearest tube is Rayners Lane Station, on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. The park is a 15-minute walk from the station.</li></ul>
