An event for Scotland’s smaller tourism establishments to find out more about how a £500 discount can help them access Green Key

There’s an open invitation on 10 January for Scotland’s smaller tourism and hospitality establishments to find out more about the £500 discount. Green Key can help tourism businesses to: <ul><li>secure year-on-year environmental improvements, </li><li> make financial savings</li><li> attract customers who are increasingly seeking out sustainable options. </li></ul>A £500 discount on the first year of Green Key membership is available for ten micro, small and SME businesses until March 2023, on a first come first served basis through Keep Scotland Beautiful’s partnership with Visit Scotland.The discount is part of the Destination Net Zero Programme, the Sustainability Certification Scheme Fund for Tourism Recovery, providing grant funding to certification providers to support businesses to recover from the impacts of COVID-19 in a sustainable manner.Provisional order of event: 10:00 - Presentation from Keep Scotland Beautiful 10:30 - A question and answer session with the chance for attendees to ask questions about Green Key and their sustainability plans. 11:00 - Event close.More about Green Key:Green Key is an international eco-label for tourism facilities. We will keep the information you have given us until the event has been completed (including any post event wrap-up) after which only anonymised data will be used for marketing and promotion. In addition to live broadcast, the Green Key discount webinar may be recorded and made available to view on widely via our online channels such as website and social media. Your face and speech may appear in the live broadcast and recording if you switch on your webcam/microphone, and the username you choose when joining the webinar may also appear live and be recorded. Your contributions to webinar discussion sessions via text chat may also feature in the live broadcast and be recorded. We may use webinar recordings for future promotion of our activities. This includes, without limitation the right to use the recordings in publicity materials, newsletters, newspapers, magazine articles, exhibitions, films, television and online (web and social media). The recordings may be made available for others to share, including relevant partners and the press. Content such as webinar recordings is used for approximately five years and then stored securely in our media archive for possible future use.
