Greener Pocklington is a community group formed last year to combat the climate crisis and wildlife habitat loss through local practical projects as opposed to campaigning or political activity. This event describes how we have organised ourselves, how we engage the local community, and describes some of the projects and successes. The purpose of the event is to give ideas to others who might like to organise their own community projects and to share our experiences. A discussion will follow the presentation.
