About this event
Please note that this is not a hybrid event, and all participants will need to be in CodeBase Edinburgh on the day of the event.
What is this event?
Spend the day working on real life problems affecting our climate and environment with Greentech and ECCAN (Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network). Working in groups, with support available throughout the day, you'll come up with tech solutions to real problems. No experience needed - just curiosity and imagination!
What can I expect?
With help from CodeBase and Greentech team members, you will be split into teams to solve a problem presented to you by ECCAN. Facilitators will be on hand to help you throughout the day, before each group presents their ideas at the end of the event.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
What should I bring?
Please bring along a laptop/mobile device to research and work from. We will provide any stationery required. If access to technology is an issue, please let a member of the team know and we'll do our best to support you.
Who will be there?
You will be joined by members of the Greentech community, the wider tech community, and CodeBase staff members.
Where is this taking place?
This session will take place in person at our Edinburgh Hub, 37a Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EL on Monday 24th November 2025.
