Overview

A tender grief & letting go ceremony to release the emotional weight of the year and enter the new year with breath, clarity, & spaciousness

Grief & Letting Go Ceremony

28 December | 1:00–5:15 PM | 16 spaces

If you’ve been carrying emotional weight this year spoken or unspoken this ceremony is your space to gently lay it down.

As the year closes, many of us feel a natural call to slow down and tend to the places inside that have been holding grief. Not the dramatic, overwhelming kind but the quiet ache, the unprocessed moments, the emotions we didn’t have space to feel.
This gathering is your invitation to honour what has moved through you, release what your body is ready to let go of, and step into the new year with more clarity, breath, and spaciousness.

Grief doesn’t have just one face.
It can look like losing someone we love and also like the ending of a friendship, a relationship or marriage.
It can be the heartbreak of miscarriage, the shock of illness, the grief of your body changing, the sadness of watching the world struggle, the loss of an animal companion, or the quiet exhaustion of simply being human.

Every layer of grief you hold named or unnamed is welcome here.

Most people fear grief.
They worry that if they open the door, it will be too much, that it won’t stop.

I understand that fear. I’ve been there.
But when grief is met gently, it doesn’t drown us it softens us.
It creates space inside the body: space for breath, clarity, joy, and the parts of life that have been waiting to reach us.

Grief, when welcomed with tenderness, becomes a doorway back into aliveness.

This ceremony is not about analysing your pain.
You don’t need to be strong, or ready, or know what you’ll say.
It’s a space to soften, feel, breathe and be held.
A space where grief and gratitude can finally meet.
Where sorrow and hope can sit side-by-side.
Where letting go becomes an act of renewal.

During our time together, you may feel warmth, trembling, relief, recognition, or the lightness that comes after truth is finally exhaled.
There is no “right way” is only your way.

Held by Monika Mudra — an Embodied Facilitator of concious connection, touch and emotional release known for creating deeply comfortable and tender, somatic spaces ,this ceremony supports your body in releasing what it’s ready to surrender and opening to what’s waiting for you in the year ahead.
