Putting this thinking into practice, On Purpose and _SocialStarters are joining forces in May during a big week in the world of social enterprise (namely the <A HREF="https://beyondgoodbusiness.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Good Deals & Beyond Good Business</A> conference) to bring together like-minded people on mission to create change in their communities and in the world-at-large.
We know how hard it is to build and grow your personal and professional networks, we didn't grow up surrounded by systems changers, environmentalists and social entrepreneurs in our families or as friends, yet we've collaborated with some special individuals over the last few years and we'd love to bring you all together to grow your personal networks.
Whether you're seeking a more purpose-driven or socially impactful career, if you currently work for or run an arts organisation doing good work, or should you be keen to do more to support the movement, you are invited to join us for some drinks and networking to meet up, share stories, and build an inner circle who can provide much needed inspiration and support.

Our mission is to bring together talented business professionals with grassroots entrepreneurs tackling issues in their communities - to share skills, solve problems, generate new ideas and provide a platform for cross cultural co-creation, knowledge-sharing and long term impact. Our work in Brazil in 2019 will see 60 social and creative female entrepreneurs make more impact in favelas in Rio de Janeiro, and our UK Consulting programme will see 30 international career shifters take on a social impact business assignment supporting 15 London social enterprises tackling gender equality, poverty, youth issues and the sustainable creative economy.

Many professionals are no longer satisfied with only creating shareholder returns and instead believe that socially and environmentally-focused business models can help solve society's toughest problems. In 2010 we started our Associate Programme in London to attract and develop leaders for purpose-driven businesses. We have now expanded to Paris and Berlin and launched a CEO Programme to develop those already running purpose-driven organisations.
