Growing Alpines

Growing Alpines

Overview

Join us in person to dive into the world of alpine plants and watch your mini mountains grow!

Amazing Alpines! Plant-a-long Workshop.

Ready to dive into the world of alpines? This in-person event is all about learning how to grow and care for these charming little plants.

Alpines are small, low maintenance plants that grow in some of the harshest conditions imaginable. They are perennial and hardy and make excellent container plants. Crating a mixed planter is a great way to bring long term colour to a small space or breezy balcony, or to provide a focal point in the garden.

Join us in designing and making your own alpine creation. There will be a selection of pots, plants, soil and grit, stones and decor, to produce your own origional design to take home*. You will be assisted by Peter, who will be planting his own container as well as giving out advice for planting, as well as longer term care and maintenance.

Meet fellow plant lovers, swap tips, and get hands-on experience. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gardener, there’s something here for everyone!

*Cost will depend upon the resources used.
