Groundwork East is a community and environment charity working across the East of England to change places and lives. We are proud to have been championing practical community action that benefits the natural world since 1985, running programmes to transform unloved green spaces, get people outside enjoying the natural world and supporting businesses to reduce their environmental impact.

Groundwork will deliver 16 garden sessions for adults from Friday 14th March - Friday 3rd October 2025.The programme will offer horticulture, nature and wellbeing focused activities in Memorial Garden to help improve the mental and physical health of local residents.Sessions will run from 10am-12pm.Activities:<ul><li>Growing ornamental plants</li><li>Plant ID</li></ul><ul><li>Forraging walks</li><li>Creating installations to encourage biodiversity to the area</li></ul>You do not have to commit to all of the sessions.
