Welcome to the GSHPA 2024 Conference and Charity Dinner: A Future Forward Gathering
This year, we're thrilled to announce the return of our annual GSHPA Conference and Charity Dinner, promising an experience that surpasses all expectations. With state-of-the-art facilities and an expanded capacity for our Charity Dinner (see seperate listing for tickets), the 2024 gathering is set to be a landmark event.
The GSHPA 2024 Conference is your opportunity to immerse yourself in expert discussions, gain invaluable insights, and enjoy hospitality in a casual academic setting. Although the detailed schedule and speaker lineup are still being finalised, here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
Morning Meet-Up: Start your day with us! While timings are yet to be confirmed, we plan to kick off with light refreshments. This includes unlimited servings of selection of teas, fresh ground coffee and infused water, served from the lounge throughout the day with morning pastries/muffins, whole fruit, biscuits, dried fruit, and seeds giving you the perfect chance to meet and greet fellow attendees in a relaxed atmosphere.
GSHPA Annual AGM: For our GSHPA members, the AGM will provide an essential update on our activities and achievements. Non-members will have a dedicated space to network and connect with industry peers.
Conference Kick-Off: Our Chair will inaugurate the event with an inspiring introduction, setting the tone for a day of fruitful discussions about the future of the GSHPA and our industry.
Insightful Sessions: Our agenda will feature a series of engaging sessions led by experts. Although our speakers are yet to be announced, rest assured, the lineup will include prominent figures and thought leaders.
Networking Lunch and Refreshments: Enjoy our restaurant style buffet lunch, offering a chance to discuss morning sessions in delightful surroundings. Refreshment breaks will also be woven into the day, facilitating further networking opportunities.
Afternoon Insights: The afternoon will continue with more informative sessions from our esteemed speakers. We're dedicated to creating a programme that is both enlightening and engaging.
The conference day will draw to a close in the late afternoon, punctuated by lunch, refreshments, and ample opportunities to network with fellow delegates throughout the day.

Conference tickets for GSHPA members are free (4 per member organisation). If you have not had your members code to use please contact stephen.bielby@gshpa.org.uk Please note any members registering for a free ticket are subject to a charge of £55+VAT per ticket if they do not show or cancel after 28th August 2024. The AGM is free to attend the £55+VAT covers the cost of food and refreshments at the conference, should you wish to just attend the AGM (and not participate in the conference) please do not proceed with this transaction and instead contact stephen.bielby@gshpa.org.uk

GSHPA 2024 Conference Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions
By purchasing and/or registering for a ticket to the GSHPA 2024 Conference, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
For GSHPA Members:
Complimentary Tickets: GSHPA members eligible for complimentary tickets must register to claim their free ticket. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation Policy: Any GSHPA member who has registered for a complimentary ticket but does not attend the conference will be subject to a charge of £55 + VAT per ticket. This fee compensates for the costs incurred due to non-attendance.
Cancellation Deadline: If a GSHPA member wishes to cancel their complimentary ticket without incurring a charge, they must do so on or before the 28th of August, 2024. Cancellations must be notified in writing to the designated conference email address provided at the time of registration.
For Independent Ticket Purchasers:
Refund Policy: Attendees who have purchased a ticket independently (i.e., not GSHPA members with a complimentary ticket) are entitled to a refund up to the 1st of August, 2024. After this date, all sales are final, and refunds will not be available.
Non-attendance: Please note that failure to attend the conference for any reason, including but not limited to personal issues, illness, or travel disruptions, does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund or credit.
General Terms for All Attendees:
Right of Admission: The conference organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject attendees for any reason deemed appropriate for maintaining a safe and respectful environment, including but not limited to behaviour that disrupts the event or puts other attendees at risk.
Data Protection: By registering for this event, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of organising and facilitating the conference. Your information may also be used for communicating future events and updates relevant to GSHPA members and attendees. Your data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy.
Event Changes: The GSHPA reserves the right to make changes to the event's schedule, venue, or speaker lineup as necessary. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, attendees will be notified and provided with options regarding their registration.
