Guernsey’s 6 year war!:
Friday 8th May @ 7pm by Bryan Pill
The talk will be a look at Guernsey’s 6-year war! Academics may roll their eyes if they are looking for an in-depth lecture, but if you would like to join me for an enjoyable evening learning a bit more about Guernsey’s 6-year war, starting September 1939 then come along.
About the speaker: Bryan Pill
Bryan is an experienced Bailiwick Accredited Siver Tour Guide. Passionate about telling stories. He has a love of 18th & 19th century history. Three of his grandparents were on the Island during the Occupation, both his parents were evacuated, his father joining the RAF as an engineer in 1942.
Although the lectures are free, if attendees feel that they would like to donate to the RGLI Trust on these evenings, such contributions would be very gratefully received.
