Guided Walk: Summer Tree Identification
Join us for a woodland walk and learn more about identifying trees this summer.
Ever wondered how to tell an Oak from an Elm, or a Sycamore from an Ash?
Join volunteer warden and tree enthusiast Andy for a fascinating guided walk through the beautiful Astonbury Wood, where you’ll discover the hidden clues that help identify different tree species. From leaves and twig characteristics, you’ll gain practical tips and knowledge to recognise many of our most common trees during the summer months.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious about the natural world, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, explore the woodland, and see the trees around you in a whole new way.
This walk will cover uneven, possibly muddy ground, with exposed roots.
Come along, connect with nature, and learn a new skill this summer.
