Actions and consequences are the stuff of drama. Commonsense suggests guilt is the consequence of an evil act. But how else might guilt be manifest and imagined? This discussion explores the complex roles guilt plays in dramatic performance. James Brown and Sam Ashenden (Birkbeck) from the Guilt Working Group will be in discussion with Maria Turri, psychiatrist, psychoanalytical therapist and expert on Commedia dell 'arte of QMUL & the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine, and Colin Ellwood, theatre director, of Presence Theatre and Bred in the Bone Theatre Company.
