Creu rhwydweithiau a chynghrair ar gyfer gymunedau cryfach yng Nghymru

Digwyddiad i grwpiau a sefydliadau cymunedol; sefydliadau’r trydydd sector, y sector cyhoeddus a’r sector preifat; partneriaethau a byrddau.

Mae sefydliadau sy’n gweithio’n wyneb yn wyneb â chymunedau yn adrodd ei bod yn mynd yn fwyfwy anodd gwneud gwahaniaeth i les dinasyddion, oherwydd maint yr heriau sy’n eu hwynebu. Nid yw erioed wedi bod yn bwysicach cydweithio’n agos, rhannu gwybodaeth ac archwilio ffyrdd o sicrhau bod y cysylltiadau rhwng polisi, tystiolaeth a gweithredu yn gadarn ac yn arwain at newid cynaliadwy ac effeithiol.

Yn y cyfarfod agored hwn, daw pobl ynghyd i edrych ar atebion ymarferol a chyraeddadwy i fynd i’r afael â’r rhwystrau sy’n sefyll yn erbyn cynnydd. Byddwn yn trafod y cwestiynau canlynol:

• A oes gweledigaeth a blaenoriaethau cyffredin y gallwn ddod at ein gilydd o’u plaid, fel ein bod yn symud tua’r un cyfeiriad cyffredinol?

• Beth yw amcanion y nifer cynyddol o rwydweithiau yng Nghymru, a sut maen nhw’n bwriadu eu cyflawni? A oes bylchau y gallai partneriaethau eu llenwi?

• Sut gallwn sicrhau bod y corff cynyddol o dystiolaeth yn cael ei gydgynhyrchu, yn cael ei gyflwyno i lunwyr polisi ac yn cael ei roi ar waith?

• Sut allai cynghrair genedlaethol eang gyflawni trosglwyddo gwybodaeth ac ymateb i’r angen am lwyfan i ysgogi newid?

Bydd cyflwyniadau allweddol yn gosod y cyd-destun, a bydd tair gweithdy (yn cael eu rhedeg ddwywaith) ar y pynciau canlynol:

· Cydgynhyrchu ymchwil ac arfarnu

· Rhwydweithiau a’u cyfraniad at les mewn cymunedau lle

· Offer a syniadau i’n helpu i ddeall cymhlethdod

Bydd cyfle ym mhob gweithdy i glywed am rai o’r mentrau cyffrous sy’n mynd rhagddynt yng Nghymru, ac i ystyried sut y gall cynghrair a rhwydweithiau helpu i ysgogi newid a chynnydd.

Bydd sesiwn olaf y diwrnod yn canolbwyntio ar ffurf a swyddogaeth cynghrair a allai fynd i’r afael â’r bylchau systemig sy’n rhwystro cymunedau rhag cael effaith.

Building networks and an alliance for stronger communities in Wales

An event for community groups and organisations; third, public and private sector organisations; partnerships and boards.

Community facing organisations report that it is becoming harder and harder to make a difference to the wellbeing of citizens, such are the challenges facing them. There has never been a stronger case for working closely together, to share knowledge and to seek ways of making sure that the connections between policy, evidence and action are strong and drive towards sustainable and impactful change.

In this open meeting we will come together to look at practical and achievable solutions to addressing the barriers that stand in the way of progress. The questions we will address include the following:

· Is there a common vision and priorities that we can get behind so that we are pulling in the same broad direction?

· What are the growing number of networks in Wales setting out to achieve and how? Are there any gaps that would benefit from building partnerships?

· How can we make sure that the growing body of evidence is coproduced, is brought to the attention of policy makers and is acted upon?

· What could be the form and function of a broad based national alliance that could drive knowledge transfer and provide a platform for change?

Keynote presentations will set the scene and will be followed by three workshops, run twice, on the following topics:

1. Coproduction of research and evaluation

2. Networks and their contribution to wellbeing in communities of place

3. Tools and ideas that help to make sense of complexity

There will be opportunities in each workshop to hear of some of the exciting work underway in Wales and to consider how an alliance and networks could help achieve progress and change.

The last session of the day will focus on the form and function of an alliance that could address the systemic gaps that stand in the way of communities being impactful.
