Walk Inspired creative afternoon:
Make your own glass map, using historical map facsimiles of the Scottish Borders, which will be used as a starting point to dissect the layers of geography, time and knowledge embedded in the historical map collection from the National from the Library of Scotland. You will learn basic glass making techniques such as etching and engraving to build up a multi layered glass map. No previous experience required. All materials supplied. Frame can be taken home afterwards.
Please bring your own lunch, although soup and hot drinks will be provided.
