Introducing: h264
London’s first open-source filmmaking experience featuring live music, performance and moving image. The event is taking place at The Book Club, a venue that’s been at the centre of the Shoreditch creative and social scene since its opening in 2011.
h264 unveils a unique experience involving 10 cameras, 3 acts and you. Inviting collaboration and participation – audiences will journey through an prime selection of content, discovering a multi-screen set-up, live music-mix and open-source experiment.
Layering sound, image and performance – h264 is for independent creatives, tech-heads, animators and filmmakers who are interested joining forces to create something extraordinary.
Featuring Live Music:
**Lorenza**
Lorenza are a pop-trio from Guildford, UK whose latest EP release ‘Peace of Mind’ has won 'Track of the Day' twice for “Paralysed” and “Wolves” on BBC Introducing. Soaring guitars and lush vocals – Lorenza are ones to watch for 2017.
**Ren**
- Ren is a London-based Singer Songwriter who performs with the London Contemporary Voices Choir. Having studied at the ICMP, London – Ren will be performing alongside members of the LCVC and musician 'L.'.
**L.**
- L. is a Singer Songwriter from London, UK. Emotional and honest, her music has featured on the likes of BBC Introducing and Vibe FM. She'll be performing a solo-set of recent material.
**Joe Caplin Aka. Joe Spoke Poems - Poet**
Kicking off our spoken word section of the evening we’ll have Joe Caplin – an up-and-coming poet whose performed alongside Spoken Word London in the slam scene at Vogue Fabrics, East London.
Joe will be reading from his latest collection; featuring "Repetition" & "Love".
