Hackney Society AGM

Join us for the Hackney Society AGM at the Shoreditch Arts Club! It's a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, discuss exciting projects, and have your voice heard. Let's come together to shape the future of our community.

We'll hear from Amr Assaad, Director of Buckley Gray Yeoman about the long history of the Tea Building and Shoreditch Arts Club; from Gordon Shrigley about our plaque campaign, the work of our Planning Group, and his new book Hackney Buildings and People; from Rob Briggs on the Buildings at Risk Group; and from Janet Chapman about some of our exciting ideas for 2026..

This is a free event and everyone with an interest in Hackney's heritage is welcome.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
