What kind of things can i swap?

Accepted Answer

Anything. Your unwanted, last season, vintage clothing items you no longer wear. Bring as many or as little as you like, and take away new outfits ready for the spring and summer. Think about items you have and don't wear and you may find something that you've been looking for to elevate it.

Question 2

Is there anything that i shouldn't bring?

Accepted Answer

Under wear and items with holes. Think about the items you would love to find and the condition you'd like to pick them up in.  Refresh your items before you bring them, hang them on the line for a while, air them out, nobody wants to pick up items with stains etc..

Question 3

Is there only certain sizes available?

Accepted Answer

hopefully there will be all sizes available, the hall will be set up in to sizes and you'll be able to find your size with ease. Just remember its an ideal time to try different makes as all sizes are different, you may find you go up or down in a certain brand :)

Question 4

Is it just Women's clothes?

Accepted Answer

This first swap were just looking at people bringing women's clothes and accessories until we know if other areas like men's and children's would be of interest.

Question 5

Can i bring accessories?

Accepted Answer

Please bring bags, shoes, costume Jewellery, hats  and belts etc.  The accessories are what make and style your outfits so how amazing will it be to be able to walk out with a full new look ready for spring.

Question 6

Will there be anywhere to try things on?

Accepted Answer

Yes there are toilets and i will be try to a changing room if possible. But the toilets have room and there will be a mirror.

Question 7

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

The venue is in the village and on main street. Parking is free for a hour, however there is plenty of free parking on back streets etc. within walking distance of the hall.

Question 8

is it wheelchair accessible

Accepted Answer

The Community room is on the ground floor and with assistance a wheel chair would be able to access the room. However at this time there are no personal amenities that are wheelchair accessible, there is currently building work going on on the Library to make it accessible in future. DM for more inf
