Hampstead Mixed Pond is a body of deep, opaque water, suitable for competent swimmers only. Non-swimmers are not permitted to enter the water.
Morning session, Drop-In, no booking*: 7am – 11am, vacate water 11:30am
Afternoon session: Booking via Eventbrite required
12pm – 12:50pm, vacate water 1pm
1:15pm – 2:05pm, vacate water 2:15pm
2:30pm – 3:20pm, vacate water 3:30pm
3:45pm – 4:35pm, vacate water 4:45pm
5:00pm – 5:50pm, vacate water 6:00pm
Evening session, Drop-In, no booking*: 6:30pm – 8:15pm, vacate water 8:30pm.
*On busy days we reach capacity quickly and operate a managed queue.
Cancellations and Refunds
- No refunds are availble.
- Only Season Ticket holders can cancel a booking. They can cancel up to 24 hours before the event, via the Ticket.
- Tickets are not transferrable.
- Please ensure tickets are correct before making your purchase as errors identified after checkout are not eligible for refund.
- Refunds are not given for non-attendance at an event; if incorrect tickets are purchased; or for weather related breaks in service, except when we close the entire facility.
Tickets
- We release tickets through Eventbrite on Mondays at 12pm for the following 7 days (Tuesday to Monday).
- Season Ticket holders must tap their wristbands on entry.
- Concession ticket holders must present their proof of eligibility on entry.
Children
- Babies and children under 8 years are not permitted at the Bathing Ponds.
- Children 8-15years must be accompanied by a swimming adult in the ratio of no more than 2 children per adult.
