Handling our Differences

In our families, communities, churches and national life, we find people have different views and understandings about what is right and what is needed. Handling these differences can be hard, especially when opinions are strongly held! So join us as we think about this vital topic and how it affects our ministry and church life. For the first half of the evening, Rev Angie Lauener will share what she has learned and valued in the Church of England’s ‘Difference’ course, a valuable resource which enables church groups to explore this topic. Then for the second half of the evening, Rev Huw Thomas will talk about his experiences of organising and hosting hustings events in the run up to local and national elections – a ministry some of us might consider being part of in our own contexts in the course of this year.
