This half day CPD event, delivered by Pam Hulme, is aimed at Primary teachers and Literacy Coordinators.

Pam chairs the INSET committee of the National Handwriting Association and is an experienced presenter. She is passionate about helping teachers to understand effective practice.

9.00 Registration and coffee

9.15 – 10.30 Session 1: Setting up to Succeed: Understanding the factors which underpin the development of handwriting and how these can be incorporated into the curriculum from EYFS provision to KS2.

10.30 – 10.45 Coffee

10.45 – 12.00 Session 2: The Teaching Steps and Curriculum: Knowing each step and developing practical ways of teaching these. The steps correlate with both EYFS and National Curriculum requirements and assessment criteria.
