As generative AI technologies evolve at an unprecedented pace, their integration into the information sector is not just an advantage – it’s a necessity.

This Power Hour will demystify the capabilities and multifaceted roles of ChatGPT's resources, from acting as virtual experts to crafting generative content in many different formats to interrogating large academic databases, utilising third party resources and harnessing the power of custom made GPTs.

The focus will be on the professional version of ChatGPT for this, so it's perfect if you're trying to work out if it's worth subscribing. However, we will also look at various other competitors to ChatGPT giving you a comprehensive overview of the current state of play in the world of generative chatbots.

We will explore what chatbots are, how they work, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and, crucially, how to harness their capabilities to your advantage.

This power hour will cover:

· The essentials of chatbots, their functionality and how they can best be used.

· Effective prompt engineering – how to craft prompts to elicit precise and useful responses.

· Dive into the world of custom GPTs and learn how to tailor chatbots to meet your specific professional needs.

· A look at ChatGPT and some other leading chatbots like Claude and Gemini, to help you gain insights into their unique features and how they can be integrated into your workflow.

Power Hour training is designed to give you exactly 60 minutes of high-value content. Delegates may ask questions in the chat log, but these questions will be addressed via email after the session. Each delegate will also receive a PowerPoint presentation which covers all the main points mentioned in the session.
