Curious Arts is a North East based arts and youth charity championing and developing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual + arts, artists and communities across the North East of England and beyond. We work from two base locations - Hartlepool and Newcastle upon Tyne.Producers of award-winning Curious Festival – a celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture, Curious Arts co-ordinate queer arts network Queer Arts North and develop community-focused arts projects and events throughout the year, in partnership with cultural and community organisations from across the region.

Drag Workshop - Hartlepool Pride 12:30pm – 1:30pm 📍 Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre Free – Booking required | Ages 18+Join a local drag artist for a playful, welcoming workshop exploring movement, persona and self-expression. This one-hour introductory session offers a supportive space to try out drag, build confidence and connect with others. No experience needed, just bring your brilliant self.Expect fun, creativity and the chance to step into something new. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential!
