Chill out with some relaxing yoga moves and crispy chips for the perfect laid-back morning session.
A NEW pop-up to move, eat & connect
This is a new pop-up designed to make movement and connection feel easy and welcoming. Each session includes a 60 minute practice led by a different teacher, followed by a relaxed social gathering at Dandelion Café. For £15, you’ll get the practice plus triple-cooked chips with handmade hummus (if you don’t know, Dandelion make everything from scratch).
We think this is the best combo, Practice & Chips! (Other food and hot drinks will be available to buy.)
This is about stripping things back. Practising & eating together without pressure. And making space for community in a way that feels nice. So often we can go to practice and never say hello to anyone, or see a workshop that we’d love to go to but feels unaffordable. We hope this popup helps this gap! After the practice, we’ll sit down together with Iain and some gentle conversation prompts (optional, light-touch invitations to chat, laugh and connect while we eat).
Because practice and good food belong together, and we feel community matters.
⭐This Month: HATHA with Iain
This month we’re welcoming Iain for a special HATHA practice.
During the practice you can expect focused awareness of both physical and subtle bodies (i.e. your energy and your mind). We'll use asana, pranayama, meditation and more to bring things into balance, perfect if you need a little grounding or centering.
Together we'll learn a specific mantra or shloka (verse) to chant too; a beautiful way to awaken your voice and be heard.
Over chips there will be the opportunity to chat. Iain may chat about his pathway into Yoga and journey with it, as well as how Yoga wisdom can apply to real life, then open up for chats around that.
About Iain
Iain is qualified in and regularly teach Hatha Yoga and Chakra Kriya, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. "Practicing with me you can expect a safe, open and inclusive space that will allow you to explore your practice in your way. I take a trauma aware approach and have a solid grounding in anatomy, so whatever variations you need I’m there to support. My ultimate aim is for you to feel at home in your practice, and leave the room feeling that bit lighter."
Price: £15
Includes: Practice + chips & hummus
Extras: Other food & hot drinks available to buy
Accessibility:
This is an open level practice, which can be as dynamic, steady or gentle as you want to make it. Participants are always encouraged to rest, sit, lay down, modify, stim or opt out. Music is used in this practice. Conversation starters will be available for anyone who’d like them (completely optional) and you’re equally welcome to simply sit, eat and enjoy the shared space quietly. No pressure.
