Welcome to Freshwalks.

This gorgeous circular walking route will start in Hathersage at the eastern end of the Hope Valley and is perfectly located for the business communities of Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire to join us for some fantastic networking in the countryside.

Walkers coming from Manchester can take the 08:48 train from Manchester Piccadilly to arrive in Hathersage at 09:44. Trains return hourly.

Walkers coming from Sheffield can take the 09:14 train to arrive in Hathersage at 09:32. Trains return hourly.

By car: Drivers are asked to arrive by latest 09:45 to allow enough time for any traffic and parking.

Meeting: We'll meet in Oddfellows Road Car Park - opposite Hathersage Lido - and the walk will start promptly at 10:00.

We should return to Hathersage approx 4pm but subject to progress and weather might even find time for a quick refreshments stop in the beer garden at The Maynard in Grindleford. There will also be an early exit option for Freshwalkers tight on time by taking the train one stop back from Grindleford to Hathersage and skipping the last 5km of the route.

You can also choose to head for a refreshing dip at the end of the hike in the outdoor pool at Hathersage Lido

A full information pack will be sent out but you'll need to bring drinking water and a packed lunch. Please wear appropriate footwear such as walking boots or shoes and take a layered approach to clothing including waterproofs.

An event pack will be sent out at least 72 hours before the walk. This should answer most things but feel free to email michael@freshwalks.co.uk with any questions you may have. If you've not received the pack by this time, check your email junk or spam and then contact us. What's the refund policy?

You can self-manage a refund (minus platform fees) with 7 days notice via the Eventbrite app. We'll transfer your place to a similar future event given 24 hours notice.
