A conversation with mental health & wellbeing experts to overcome our fears and anxieties, taking confidence and action in our creativity!

Calling all creatives, artists, producers... the pandemic has been challenging for us all, but particularly for those training or working in artistic practices and the creative industries. Wac Arts wants to check in with you and make sure you are okay. We are bringing together a panel of experts who specialise in supporting creatives&#x27; mental health and emotional wellbeing. We will be having frank conversations about the emotions, anxieties and fears that have been present in the past 18 months. Coping strategies we can implement to help us deal with these traumatic events and overcome the fear. What tools we can use to help us reflect, recover and take some positives from this experience. We want you to be confident knowing what 2020 has taught you.Now as we move out of the pandemic, this conversations is to help us explore how we can pivot our mindset, overcome self - sabotaging habits and unlock the creativity we need to rebuild a healthier and better future for us all.It&#x27;s okay to go slow and steady, you got this! He wanted to help dancers with their emotional and mental health issues. His proactive workshops are to help support dancers’ mental wellbeing teaching them resilience and how to be mentally fit and emotionally strong. She believes that by connecting with our bodies and using simple tools to change our mindset, it is possible to lead a consistently calmer and happier life.Marissa was a performer with credits including supporting Act for Jazzy Jeff, backing dancer for Jazzy B, Sasha, Lisa Lashes, Sugar Hill Gang and various music videos. And she has over 10 years of experience in the Corporate sector both nationally and internationally, with roles including new business development, training and project management.
